AAWM Class: Mosaic Glass on Glass Class by Peggy Donathan

Learn about the beauty of Mosaic on Glass…. Appearing in the light like a stained glass window, without having to solder. Students will learn about patterns, applying the glass on glass, cutting/nipping glass, grinding glass, tools, where to find materials, marketing their art and so much more.

 Students will be provided with an 8”x10” framed glass panel for their project.  There will be 10 patterns for the students to pick from.  All materials and tools are provided for class use.  There will be lots of colored stained glass pieces for the students to pick from, to use on their mosaic panel. 

The last hour of the class, I will give a grouting demonstration, which will include how to mix the grout, how to apply and finish the project.  Students will NOT grout their projects in the class.  Students will be provided a bag of grout with instructions to take home.  This will enable students to grout their project at home once the glue dries (approximately 7 days).
